Como ler este número

How to read these numbers

Every figure on this page - recall campaign numbers, MPG, crash-test stars - comes straight from a US federal agency's own public API (NHTSA or the EPA). We never calculate, round, or estimate one ourselves.

De onde vem o dado

Where this data comes from

Recalls: NHTSA's recallsByVehicle API. Fuel economy and specs: the EPA/DOE's fueleconomy.gov. Safety ratings: NHTSA's 5-Star Safety Ratings program. All three are free, public, no-key APIs operated by the US government.

Cuidado

What this page does NOT say

A missing recall, MPG figure or safety rating doesn't mean the vehicle is unsafe or inefficient - it means that specific federal dataset doesn't have a matching entry for this model and the years we checked. We show that plainly instead of filling it with a guessed number.
